What is the maximum window subsidy in 2026?+
BAFA support can reach €12,000 per residential unit (20 % of €60,000 eligible costs with iSFP bonus). proKlima Hannover adds up to €3,000 regionally, or up to €10,000 for heritage properties. Combining both is usually possible — limited by BEG cumulation caps.
Do I need an energy consultant?+
For BAFA/BEG funding, yes — an energy efficiency expert from the dena list must be involved (application with the BzA confirmation by the consultant). We recommend reliable partners in Hannover and Niedersachsen.
What is the iSFP bonus?+
The individual renovation roadmap (iSFP) is created once by an energy consultant (around €800-1,500, itself 80 % subsidised). It adds +5 percentage points to the funding rate and doubles the maximum eligible costs (from €30,000 to €60,000 per year and unit). The iSFP is valid for 15 years for further measures.
When must the application be submitted?+
Before the contract is awarded and the work starts. A subsequent application is not possible. We coordinate the timeline so no deadlines are missed.
Which windows are eligible?+
For BAFA: Uw ≤ 0.95 W/(m²·K). For proKlima Hannover: Uw ≤ 0.8 W/(m²·K) — passive house quality (typically triple glazing with high-end profiles). We only install windows that meet or exceed these values.
