What does a new front door cost?
The price of a front door depends on several factors: on the material (aluminium or PVC), on the security features such as burglary protection according to RC2, on the thermal insulation (U_D value) as well as on design, surface and panel. As a guide, a front door including professional installation costs around 1,500 to 4,500 €, depending on the features. We will only give you a binding price after the free on-site survey – so you know exactly what to expect, without any hidden items.
BAFA/BEG subsidy for your front door
The replacement of front doors can be subsidised via the BEG individual measures: 15% grant, with an individual renovation roadmap (iSFP) even 20% – subject to subsidy approval. Eligible costs are up to 30,000 € per residential unit, with iSFP up to 60,000 €. Important: the application must be submitted before awarding the contract, and the involvement of an energy efficiency expert (EEE) is mandatory. We coordinate the process; you submit the application as the owner together with the expert. This way you use the subsidy securely and within the right time window.
