About this project
The roof renovation in Hannover covered full re-roofing, energy insulation and integration of modern roof windows. VL-Innovativbau works with Velux and Fakro — both manufacturers offer 15-year warranty. The old roof was removed, rafters checked for load-bearing capacity and reinforced if needed. Then came the under-roof membrane, counter-battens, 24 cm intermediate insulation WLG 035, and new cover. All joints, valleys and edges were finished in titanium zinc. The two Velux residential roof windows were installed with flashings for easy maintenance. Static and energy compliance reports per GEG were provided.
